The episodes of Gilmore Girls lately have been all about Rory graduating from Yale. While I am still a year or so away from graduation I have been thinking about my life. Life is hard. Working is hard. School is hard. Ugh. I kinda wanna fast forward a year or so and be graduated, but I mean it's not like I am done with school by any means after my BS. Soo idk what I am in a rush to do. Anyhow I have things to look forward to. Seeing my family this weekend. Fourth of July. UF Preview. Starting UF. My Birthday. My 5 year anniversary. Friend's birthdays. Halloween. Thanksgiving. Greg's birthday. Christmas in Cuba. New Year's. Ya, that's my year. I mean other things will happen that aren't planned yet I am sure. But man time could go a little faster.

I got in to UF.

So, a few weeks ago I went to the Iron Maiden concert in Sunrise. It was soo fucking amazing. I cannot describe it all in the journal, but it is permanently engraved into my brain. It was the best night of my life. I can honestly say that. The love of my life was there with me. Great stuff. I just came back from watching the documentary on the tour, Flight 666. Amazing. All of these songs on the tour, with the exception of one, were originally made before I was born. And the one I was born for, I was 2 when it came out lol. They are coming out with a new CD in 2010. I have something to look forward to!! Andddd they promised they would come back to Florida in 2011. OMFG. UP THE IRONS!!

Tonight was the best night of my life so far. Details and pictures later.

It shouldn't be called milk unless it comes from a mammal.

So, things that are not milk:

Soy Milk- White colored drink made from soy. So is not a mammal.
Rice Milk- Made from rice. Rice is not a mammal.
Coconut Milk- Made from coconut water and other ingredients. Shouldn't be called milk since Coconut is also not a mammal.

If you drive a gigantic-ass vehicle (trucks, SUVS, ect.), then you should not be afraid of speed bumps or curbs. I have been astonished by the number of huge vehicles that have either almost hit me, or cause me to almost hit them, because they were a)avoiding a bump, b)avoiding hitting a curb, or c)coming to almost a complete stop to go over a bump. Why did you buy such a huge car? Don't the commercials show the cars off roading and what not? A bump/curb will not hurt your car.

Speaking of speed bumps, why did you lower your car so that it is now only a few centimeters above the road if now you cannot physically go over speed bumps? You were well aware that it is physically impossible to drive without encountering some sort of bump, be it man made or a natural part of the Earth. Just because you have to come to a halt when there is a speed bump, doesn't mean I do. Move it along!

So I went to a closing Circuit City store today. That was the most depressing thing I've seen in recent days. Still no job.

Hitting the gym everyday.
Doing well in all of my classes.
Looking for a job.
Living with the boyfriend.
Playing the Sims.
Eating better.
Trying not to sweat the small stuff.

1. Get things straight with Santa Fe so I can pick my classes already.
2. Pack: decide what stays here, what moves with me, what gets thrown out.
3. Go see the apartments I like from online.
4. Close my bank account in Miami.
5. Align my tires.
6. Get an oil change.
7. Sell the laptop.

At least I made a dent in it. Some other stuff will get done in the next few days, too.

In no particular order:

1. Get things straight with Santa Fe so I can pick my classes already.
2. Keep my good grades up / Do well on my finals.
3. Pack: decide what stays here, what moves with me, what gets thrown out.
4. Go to Bed Bath and Beyond.
5. Get my camera.
6. Check out apartments. (I think I found a really awesome one online!)
7. Apply for jobs in Gainesville. (maybe I should try that Oaks Mall.)
8. Close my bank account in Miami.
9. Align my tires.
10. Get an oil change.


That's all I can think of right now, but it feels like there's really way more.

I really realized today how scared I am of moving. Lol. Like, I know I'm not good with change. But it kind of just hit me today. Wow.

It also really sucks that I have made some really cool friends NOW THAT I AM LEAVING!! Lol.

Wow.

How can people be so ignorant and closed minded? This kid in my history class was about to say something offensive about "McCain supporters" until he realized oh wait? maybe not everyone here is for Obama. That's right, maybe you should step outside of yourself and see that there are plenty of other counties and plenty of other states besides broward county, florida. I respect you enough to let you vote for whoever you want to vote for. all i can do is tell you my facts and my opinions but i am in no way saying "democrats are idiots, democrats are retarded, obama is the devil" to anyone, even if that's how i were to feel. don't try to tell me who to vote for, and don't tell me i am stupid for voting the way i want. and don't be so ignortant as to think that "obama's got this in the bag", because there is a whole country voting tomorrow, not just liberal broward county, ok? There are plenty of stupid people on both sides of this equation. we need to respect out differences of opinion and just shut up until about Nov 5th when we know for sure.

I feel like myself again.

Living with E and K totally just dragged down and turned me into this person I really wasn't and didn't want to be. Funny how when I moved out I got straight A's. I feel really great and confident about school again, and I'm also eating a lot better.

Never again will I let anyone influence who I am.

I'm writing kinda quick and with typos because it's getting dark so I can't see as well. But, I GOT LASER EYE SURGERY AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT!!!! Oh i had read so many bad things about it, but now I see a lot of it is bullshit. my surgery was a total success, totally worth all of the discomfort. My vision is still a little blurry, and i still can't drive at night but stilllll I'm totally happy.

and now that i can see the world better, it's time to work on my appearance. I'm gonna lose weight, fix up my hair, buy clothes and make up and what not and have fun.

school stuff is almost all done.

it felt GREAT.

I had the most amazing day ever with my love, Greg.

I can't wait until January.

    send test scores
LOSE WEIGHT
    stop eating crap
    get up and do stuff

BE HAPPY!  
    enjoy myself. laugh, have fun.
    visit all of my favorite places in south florida


July 1st: stop wearing contacts. take 500 mg vitamin C everyday.
July 14th: counsultation
July 17th: LASER EYE SURGERY

*burp* that is all.

Today was a really good ending to a really crappy stint at FIU. So glad it's over. Scared of things to come.

-I hate not being able to go shopping anymore since all clothes now are overpriced and slutty
-Greg has pointed things out to me about myself I had never really noticed
-There are more productive things I could be doing right now, but I don't care
-My biggest fear is getting a parasite
-I hope to become good at bowling
-I hate it when commercials suddenly get really loud, so you turn the tv down and then when the show comes back you can't hear it
-My relationship is almost perfect, but that doesn't make me a relationship expert, it just makes me lucky
-I believe in proper grammar
-Commericials would be the most effective if they just showed pictures of the products, not this other stupid, mindless, unfunny crap
-Just because you like something doesn't mean everyone does
-I hate axe and tag sprays for guys. No, that smell does NOT make me want to jump on you
